in-Person worship by invitation

In accordance with guidelines established by the Episcopal Diocese of Southwest Florida, the Church of the Annunciation is continuing to limit access to our church facilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic. All gatherings for worship services in our church are limited to ten people or less through May 20. Admission to in-person worship is by invitation only. If you would like to be invited, please contact the church office at 941-778-1638.

Our services continue to be streamed on our Facebook page. The Sunday service is live-streamed at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time. Our Thursday service is live-streamed or prerecorded for Facebook Premiere at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

Stations of the cross online, 3/18 @ 6 p.m.

We will webcast the Stations of the Cross on our parish Facebook page on Wednesday, March 18, at 6 p.m. You can find our facebook page by clicking here. Due to the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, participation is by invitation only.

Suspension of parish operations for emergency

We are suspending regular parish operations due to the COVID-19 Emergency through March 31. We will be webcasting our liturgies through Facebook Live with a limited congregation of ten people. You can access our Facebook page (registration not required) by clicking here. The email our Rector, the Rev. Matthew Grunfeld, sent to the parish may be found by clicking here.

Parish office closed january 14.

The parish office will be closed on January 14 as Florida Power and Light brings the connection from the power line to our electrical panel. The power will be disconnected for a period of time, meaning lights, computers, and telephone will not be working (including our voicemail system). The Bridge Group will not meet that day.
